At GTL, we care about making an impact and being a bridge in making it happen. The outcomes of our projects and responsible business framework reflects the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Which we have highlighted, in order to help address the significant issues that governments all around the world are trying to solve. At our work place we take on board many of the SDG’s such as: Gender Equality, Reducing Inequality, building resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
For instance, several of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) have a direct and important relationship with electric vehicles (EVs). By lowering greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, which are mostly brought on by fossil fuel-powered cars, they most significantly support SDGs 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and 13 (Climate Action). The switch to EVs, which provides a cleaner and more sustainable alternative, is an essential part of the move towards a future powered by renewable energy. Additionally, they contribute to SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through advancing technology and creating new infrastructure, such EV charging stations. Additionally, as EVs may considerably improve urban air quality and health outcomes and might even promote more sustainable consumption habits, they may have an impact on SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) as well as SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). As a result, the growth of EVs is an essential step towards furthering sustainable development on a worldwide scale.
